Next, you will be taken to the admissions area, where your nurse will verify medical information, allergies, and medication. The nurse will prepare you for eye surgery, and you will meet with an anesthesia provider to discuss your medical history and the type of anesthesia appropriate for you and your eye surgery procedure.
